• Slow cooked Moroccan Lamb Casserole
• Spanish Chicken Risotto
• Stir-fried garlic prawns (in the wok) with Chinese-Style Stir Fried Vegetables – I was skeptical about this vegetable dish but it is really good. You will find it in both the Thermomix Everyday Cookbook (page 92) nd Basic Cook Book (page 206) The vegetables cook while we stir fry the prawns in the wok.
• Home made vegetable pasties. I steam all the leftover vegetables that are lurking in the fridge and pantry (potato, pumpkin, broccoli, corn, peas, spinach, beans – whatever I can find). Once steamed I roughly mash together with some feta cheese, season with salt and pepper, and wrap in pastry and bake (homemade shortcrust is great, but purchased puff works well too). The recipe for shortcrust is on page 119 of the Thermomix Everyday cookbook and page 48 of the Basic Cookbook.
